One of my favorite things in the world is Sailor Moon. Having been a fan since childhood, it’s something I’ve been into for a long time. I’ve always wanted to make something Sailor Moon of my own, that wasn’t created from fragile paper. Here today we have my first attempts at making some miniature brooches and moonstick wand. Later on, I got a bit extra creative Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

This is Sailor Moon’s transformation brooch in Season 1. It is actually quite easy to make ^_^

This little moonstick wand came out really good 🙂 It was a bit difficult to craft the moon at first, but I’ve pretty much got it down now.

I really like the design of this henshin (transformation brooch) because it has a star and nearly rainbow color jewels 🙂

But wait, there’s more!

I decided to try something I have never seen done before, and that is putting gemstones on the moonstick wands! These came out really really really good. I am super excited to try this method in the future with other wands and brooches. Oh, and there is an extra bonus to the ones below 🙂

Both wands have quartz crystal to replace the “clay stone” as seen in the moon of the first moonstick wand.
Left wand – Bottom is amethyst, star is hematite, and red dot is jasper.
Right wand – Bottom is hematite. The red dot is just glass ’cause I didn’t have any smaller red stones V_V

Here is the exciting part about these two wands:

They glow in the dark on the gold parts!!

Man it was a lot of fun to make those yesterday. ^_^

I think next I shall try to make the Sailor Neptune mirror. Time permitting. Looks like this is going to be another busy week/weekend. (*´ο`*)=3 はふぅん

Sorry for not posting up any new creations today. I feel terrible and barely have the energy to do anything. I keep thinking about making some cookies but just can’t get up to do it.

Though, I do have something cool to share!

Yes, part of the house has brick floors ^_^

I put an Oreo charm on my boyfriend’s backpack that he uses while mountain bike riding. The Oreo survived the high speeds, the heat, and made it through being clipped by a tree! Durability test: passed. 🙂

Ugh, there goes my assistant, sleeping on the job again…. （｀ー´）ヘヘーン

I really really wanted to make one of these after having seen the advert Oreo put on the social media sites. Though, back then I didn’t make all this fun stuff.

Then after the big Prop 8 and DOMA victories ＼(*T▽T*)／ , I figured it would be the perfect time to create the ultimate Oreo. ^_^

The bottom creme is a bit thicker than the top. I will be redoing it in the near future.

If they sold these in stores, Oreo wouldn’t have a fast enough production line to meet the demand.
Though, with the amount of creme it would take, they may have to put an FDA warning on it or something. SUUUGARR OVERRLOOADDD

More clay creations that are so fresh, the glaze hasn’t finished drying yet.

Today, you will most likely really have to click to enlarge X_X I will try taking more close up pictures next time.

These are made from a failed strawberry cane, the ends of a lemon cane, and left over blueberry clay. Here at Decojenn, we believe in reusing and recycling 😉

These are the pieces from Candy Crush, in a very small form. I had been meaning to remake the larger charm bracelet into a smaller one, though I think the charms are *too* small this time around. I’m having a Goldilocks problem >.<

The anticipation of having Hello Kitty charms was killing me. As soon as they were cool and I had free time, I began painting these charms. Well, we started off with 4 but now there are only 2 which are decent enough to leave the studio, which means the other two go to the land of misfit toys... These two, while no where near perfect, are decent enough to hit the frosting in the near future.

Lollipops are really fun to make and pretty simple.What color pops would y’all like to see? (PS rainbow will be on the way soon already 😉 ) Or any suggestions on colors for cakes? I don’t really want to search up pictures and copy that, I would rather get inspiration from real people!

Just a few, for now

Since my Hello Kitty charms didn’t come out as well as planned, they have not ended up stuck in any frosting yet ｬダヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ and I really wanted to make something with HK >.<

This dude was sitting on my desk, minding his own business, until I came along and stole square display container from him, (for a failed experiment but it will be useful in time), rendering him virtually homeless. So, in order to make up for it I set him free. Well, the point is that this time the "frosting" is supposed to resemble a cloud. Hopefully :p

This is the froo froo oreo container with cake frosting and bling dots. You know how hard I try to refrain from using pink for everything~?!?! That is why they are blue. Plus, for some reason, the “vibe” of Oreo seems to work well with blue tones.

Speaking of certain incensed sky traveling animals:

Yeah I know I kinda am posting this in reverse, but these are some of the things that didn’t come out in the first round of pictures.

I don’t know about these… I mean they look cute, and then I’m like “they look cheap”, then I think “well they are really creative” and then I’m like “Dude you can do better what is this mess?!” Dang internal conflicts >.<

☢☠ Another Lesson ☢☠

Last night, cookie production came to a halt temporarily.

Every time I hear the word lesson, this scene pops in my head :p

While I was making an Oreo, some super glue got between my fingers and I didn’t separate them in time ＼(>o<)／ギャーッ！

I tried to rinse them in hot water with soap, cut down the super glue line, but NOPE, they were stuck!

Good thing they were only stuck for about 30 minutes! I still had to cook dinner! (Though, had they remained stuck I was gonna pass on my cooking duties hehehehehe |･ω･｀)).

So the lesson for this episode, “be really really really careful with superglue!!!!!”

♛♛ The long-awaited, much anticipated, Oreo Cookies!! ♛♛

After having to, unfortunately (jk), eat through a few Oreos to get the perfect mold, then learning my lesson about leaving Oreos out overnight, after that fighting with getting the cookies out of the molds, I have finally got some Oreo sandwiches up.

There are two kinds: Ones that look more realistic and ones that look like little Oreo cakes. My favorite is the … wait I’m not gonna say! Y’all lemme know if you think the creme cookies look cooler, or the classic Oreo. ｢(ﾟﾍﾟ)

This is the first creme filled Oreo I made. The frosting came out reallllly good on it ^_^ I R HAPPY with it.

Pink and green are a cool color combo, and I didn’t want to make the pink toooo girly so yeah hope the green tones down the princess effect a bit.

He got kinda squished by the table cloth (bandana :P) but this red and yellow I like because it’s cute and not so girly at the same time.

Annnnnnd here we have the “realistic” version. I think they look like real Oreos. Apparently my boyfriend does too, ’cause when I showed one to him last night, before it was glazed, he thought it was an actual Oreo Mini!! (O_O；)

BRB Gonna go eat Oreos! Ohhhh I gotta finish my lunch first tho (mmmm mac n cheese).

On the next edition of Oreos, we will have containers with Oreo lids!

Oh, I forgot to mention earlier that these particular charms are scented like Oreos! Please do not eat them X_X
