(*＾▽＾)／ Hi everybody! I am back with a pretty big update on the latest out of the Art Lab. Some day I think I will give y’all a tour of the place, how does that sound? :p
** Latest Sweets **
Because I am a Native Texan, I love this piece and wear it quite often! It’s my own design and just as unique as the kind of people you find in the Lone Star State.
This piece was made a few days before July 4th. I wanted something cute to wear to work that celebrated the holiday, and showed off my craft. :p
For some reason, I got the hankerin’ to make cotton candy, so I picked up some fresh-on-the-markets powder and made this cotton candy!
Here’s another charm I made with the new powder. It’s a Mexican Cookie called Arcoiri, which means Rainbow, and their unofficial name is “the Snowballs”. These are quite popular as earrings and necklaces.
This donut has been so popular and well liked that I am almost feeling too stingy to replicate it! hahaha Just kidding. I can make an army of donuts if the world so desires!
This is modeled after a Genoise Cake (ooooo fanccyyyyy).
I’ve been having a lot of fun with layered cakes lately.
Having more fun with layers, here. Its so cute, I just wanna pinch its little cheekies. 🙂
This cake…. I don’t even know about this cake sometimes. I really wanted to make something with chocolate sprinkles, so I did. Then I really wanted it to have strawberries, so it does. Now that it’s finished, it looks like some alternate dimension carrot cake O_o. To top it all off, somehow the frosting cracked on the big part. Like I said, I don’t even know. This cake is totally not going up for sale, unless, you know, someone really falls in love with it haha.
** A Little Blogging Moment *
Let me take this moment to apologize for Vanna White-ing the entire post here. Currently my bakery and room scenes look like a tornado and earthquake came through… Would you like to see? xD
THIS IS THE MARK OF A REAL ARTIST AT WORK, PEOPLE!!
I’ve got a couple new little scenes to build up, some pictures for an exclusive Sailor Moon room, plans for a little “outdoor market” type deal. and a Taj Mahal. Seriously, there is a Taj Mahal in that red box, I kid you not.
Really though, I’ve focusing so much on getting all my crafting materials organzied, and rearranging the entire room that the scenery has been on the backburner. After this week though, I will get it all set up again, then y’all can enjoy cute pictures sans hands. 🙂
Anyways, it’s way past my bedtime so I will be signing off. Stay tuned for the next resin update, and… KITTENS!!
Everything looks so nice! I really love the finish with the new powder too!
Thanks, Kat:) I’m trying to think of more sweets to make with it, and you would be the perfect person to help me out with that. (Also it’s gonna work great when I make it to that Chibimoon desert, hehe)
